Change at Will: Meet Vertex & Vector Thin

1

Moto X, as Motorola’s flagship brand, is now catching up the popularity, and is also releasing two all-metal phones with similar looks- Vertex and Vector Thin.

The two new phones are sleek and great looking, most of all, they both feature modular design, which I think would be the big hit for Moto X. Recently, It’s not hard to tell modular design has become trendy gradually. Actually, more and more Android smartphones are, and will be equipped with Modular system/ design, and doubtless, this is possibly creating more commercial opportunity and of course, more potential customers.

Well, now allow me to brief their specs to you. Let’s start off with the display. Vector Thin is positioned at higher-end handset, featuring 5.5 inch AMOLED display, and a slightly lower-clocked version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 system-on-chip (2.0GHz quad core). Capacity? It’s said to be equipped with 32GB ROM and either 3GB or 4GB RAM. Supporting laser-assisted AF, the primary camera has 13 megapixel and so on. However, to make a thinner body. (5.2 mm in thickness) Vector contains just a 2600mAh cell, which is such a drawback that annoys users, I think.

As for Vertex, it shares the same size display as Vector’s, yet it uses only Full HD display, and a slightly lower-clocked version of chipset- Snapdragon 625. Verex comes in either 16GB storage / 2GB RAM or 32GB storage / 3GB RAM. The primary camera has 16 megapixel and also support laser-assisted AF. Vertex’s contains a 3500mAh cell (better than Vector). However, the thickness comes up to 7mm. As the saying goes, we cannot sell the cow and drink milk.

So, what’s so great and attractive about modular design. With 16 holes seen on the back of these two smartphones, you can even change the speaker ports. So far as we know, Motorolas has at least six modules, called “Amps,” allowing modular backplates to be snapped onto either handset.

Eager to learn more? Both Vertex & Vector Thin may be seen on Levono Tech World on Ninth of June. We will keep you posted. some people prefer pork while some people prefer beef. What’s your preference?
