We learn to alter things especially when we are under great changes. Take HTC One M7 and M8 as examples, HTC lowered the megapixels to 4.08 megapixels. And they proved that the image quality remained great when they used 2um pixel as the size of resolution of cameras.

This was the initial move from HTC, and this move affected all the other manufactures of seeking better image quality than higher resolution. Which is pretty beneficial for cellphone users because not only have these manufactures started developing better cameras for cellphones, but also created funnier cameras for cellphones. For instance, some of cellphones have dual cameras with wide angle, and some of them have quicker autofocus while others have a variety of styles with distinctive colors.

So, someone may ask: Do cameras play such an vital role in smartphones features? Okay, the answer is absolutely “positive”. Let’s take a look at the growth of Instagram. There were 1 million members in 2010. And by September 2011, it had gained 10 times the size of members.
