Overwhelmingly “KAWAII”- ROBOHON

Technology is always one of the most popular issues worth discussing. It influences modern people’s lives deeply and also changes the whole world’s trends with at an unbelievable velocity. In terms of ROTOBTS. Maybe approximately 20 years ago. A lot of companies around the world started developing robot-tech. I won’t be much surprised that in the future, the robot technology must be like tsunamis striking every corner in the entire world.

Sharp Corporation, as a Japanese renowned electronic company, usually keeps its reputation and has now announced a so called “Heart Moving Phone”-RoBoHoN. According to the official site, it is a brand new robot that we have never seen before, and at MWC, Sharp showed us several astounding skills that the robot are capable of doing; from answering the phones to doing word processing. I make a simple list for you so that you may understand more about this multifunction robot.

• Pohone: Robohon is handheld. It is pretty easy to be used as a regular smartphone to make phone calls or hands-free calls.
• Email: You are able to send, receive email and even download apps with your finger tapping on its body.
• Walk: Robohon can walk, sit up/ down, and even dance.
• Speech recognition: You can issue a command by just speaking to it.
• Memorization: Robohon can identify people by facial recognition.
• Photography: Robohon is also a photographer (photos) and film maker (videos)
• As for the last function, I may specifically point out it is also my favorite thing to do with
• Entertainment: It projects photos and videos like a projector and plays music as a music player.

Perhaps Sharp will put more ideas and functions on Robohon, and for this I can’t say that I have already known this robot well. However, I consider it as a good sign, because I am sure our lives will be more enriching and colorful due to the breakthrough of robot technology.

 

We don’t really have the confirmation of its exact price or release date so far, but I have a feeling that this “Kawaii” Robohon is about to become the new pet of each family.
